TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES

The Richmond Metropolitan Authority (RMA) requests proposals from qualified, fully-licensed and responsible firms to provide telecommunication services.  The Authority intends to award a contract “Agreement” with the successful firm for a period of three years, with an option by the Authority for three additional one-year extensions.

The RFP package should be available on this web page on or after Monday, February 6, 2012 (approximately 3:00 PM Eastern Time).  This package will fully detail the scope of work and describe the qualifications that a firm must have in order for their proposal to be considered.

RMA will receive proposals until 1:00 PM, local time, on March 19, 2012, at 919 East Main Street, Suite 600, Richmond, VA 23219.  Any response received after the deadline will be rejected.

RMA encourages the submission of proposals from small, minority and female-owned businesses.

RMA reserves the right to reject any or all written submissions made in response to this RFP, to waive informalities and to reissue this RFP and/or cancel the procurement in its discretion.  RMA will not have any liability or other obligation whatsoever for any costs or expenses incurred by any proposer in the analysis and preparation of a proposal or for any interviews, meetings, contract negotiations or other deliberations concerning same.
