Paulette Cook
Paulette Cook joined the RMA in December 1997 as human resources manager. In July 1999, she was promoted to director of administration. Her role includes directing the Authority’s human resources activities and leading projects related to human resources. In addition, she is responsible for developing and interpreting administrative policies, and supervising the administrative, training and development, and information systems staffs.
Prior to joining the RMA, Cook worked in human resources at American Tobacco (currently Brown & Williamson) and Westvaco. She represents the RMA on the Urban League of Greater Richmond's EEO Committee and is a member of several human resources professional organizations.
Cook holds a bachelor of science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University. She holds PHR certification awarded by Society for Human Resource Management.
