David T. Caudill
 

David Caudill, P.E. has served as the Director of Operations since January 2011. Most recently, he held the position of RMA assistant director of operations and staff engineer for 14 years. He is a licensed professional engineer who has more than 27 years of experience in the transportation industry.

 Caudill’s prior experience includes 15 years of bridge and highway design with the Virginia Department of Transportation and the private sector.

 As operations director, his areas of responsibility include operation of the Authority's toll road facilities, parking (four garages, several surface lots and stadium event parking), Main Street Station and The Diamond baseball stadium; and supervision of the public relations office, RMA police officers, engineering department and construction projects.

 Caudill received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis from Virginia Tech, and a MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also is a 2008 Leadership Metro Richmond graduate and an avid sailor. He resides in Louisa County with his wife and two children.
