In January 1991, the Crenshaw Avenue Parking Deck in Carytown opened, followed by the Colonial Avenue Parking Deck just three months later. Before construction began, special care was taken in the deck design to ensure a smooth transition between residential and commercial areas. The two parking structures are virtually identical, each accomodating up to 110 vehicles.
