There are two types of toll violations on the RMA Expressway System. Please read both before submitting a payment. 

• The first is a toll violation on the mainline toll plazas and on/off-ramps on the Powhite Parkway, Downtown Expressway and Boulevard Bridge. You can mail in toll payments to the address below, or hand deliver a sealed envelope to any RMA-staffed toll booth. Please include your payment, name, date of violation, and license plate number with payment. If you received an Unpaid Toll Invoice, please include it with your payment.

The RMA does not have the capability to accept

toll payments online or over the telephone.

• The second is a toll violation on the RMA Express (ORT) lanes on the Powhite Parkway. This toll plaza employs Electronic Toll Collection technology that allows registered E-ZPass users to travel at near-highway speeds through the toll plaza without stopping at the cash toll plaza to pay. Toll violators along this roadway do not have an E-ZPass, but still have traveled the roadway. Once a driver passes through the toll plaza, the image is sent directly to the Customer Service Processing Center, and is processed by an RMA contractor. Once this occurs, the RMA cannot accept toll violation payment from the motorist.
